A Guide To Choosing White Spandex
Looking for a white to line with? 5A-114 White Lining is a great option. If you are looking for something heavier our White Cotton Spandex can be used for lining also. Some people also prefer to self line a leotard, dance, swimsuit, or skating dress. Self lined simply means you use the same fabric as the main face fabric for the lining as well. I find that Skaters and dancers that want to feel a little extra support really like a self lined costume. Sakters and dancers that get really hot may prefer a thinner liner like the 5A-114 white luxury lining.
Looking for fabric for pants or shorts? Our 5A-113 White Olympus is a great choice with is’t great opacity. 5A-115 White Matte Heavyweight is also a good option.
Looking for a base fabric? The above mentioned fabrics can also be used as a base for a leotard or costume but sometimes due to design you made need to start with a lighter base fabric. 5A-101 White Kira Matte Tricot and 5A-102 White Shiny Tricot are great fabrics for this use!
5A-100 White Stretch Satin is a beautiful fabric that dyes gorgeously. It is heavier that the White Kire Matte and White Shiny Tricot but lighter weight that the Olympus and White Matte Heavyweight. It has a wide range of uses but care must be take as it is more prone to snagging that any of the other white fabrics listed.

5A-113 White Olympus
Olympus is a microfiber tricot that has tighter spandex and heavier weight to help improve blood flow and muscle control. This white microfiber tricot has GREAT OPACITY!
-great for pants, shorts, and briefs.
-As we specialize in dyeing nylon spandex, I have not tried this fabric with a Poly dye.
